6 September 2013

Hi Everyone,

You can print off the Registration Form on this blog, just fill it out and hand into your nearest participating quilt shop, so that will be either, Sawmillers Quiltery, Te Marua, Upper Hutt, Cherry Pie Bernina, Levin, Village Books & Crafts, Palmerston North, Crafty Pear, Pahiatua, and Quilters Lane, Masterton.

When you pay your $45.00 you will receive sufficient fabric and instructions to make the quilt top excluding borders, binding and batting, each shop has their own requirements for the top, it may be you will receive the centre block as part of the registration.

Once registered you will receive a ‘passport’ so that when you have spent $11.00 in each shop you will not only receive a 10% discount but also a ‘click’ on your passport, which when full , you will hand into the final shop you visit and that will go into the draw for one of 5 Gift Baskets valued at $250.00 !!!!

The registration forms will also be available in the participating shops along with quilt boards showing the quilts from the other shops, the opening hours of the shops will also be on the registration form, in some cases the shops will open out of normal hours to accommodate your trip.

This Shop Hop has been a very popular event in previous years, it enables quilters from the Lower South Island  and beyond to visit the shops meet the owners and assistants and see the variety of fabrics and associated products that are available to quilters.

If you have any questions just ask one of the shops and they will be more than happy to help you, so why not get a group together and have a fun day or even weekend out and about.

This blog will be updated regularly with information as it comes to hand.

All The Shop Hop Quilts

17 August 2012

Hi Everyone,

Well, time is moving on and the Shop Hop registrations will be closing on 31st August 2012, so the time is fast approaching for you to make decisions on the quilt you would like to make, that being the case and to make things easier for everyone we have posted pictures of all the quilts below with the names of the shops where you can see them up close and personal!! But, if you can’t get to a shop you will also be able to see pictures and fabrics used in the quilts at all the participating shops.

This is a really good way of getting around some of the independent quilt shops in the Lower North Island, it means you can make a quilt for $45.00, how is that for value, especially these days when the economy is a bit iffy! Finishing kits can also be ordered so if you want your quilt to look the same as the sample then this makes it easier for you.

Don’t forget also, that all the shops will be giving prizes, free gifts and also 10% Discount on purchases over $11.00, some shops are also going to open on days that they would normally be closed, why not make a Quilt Trip with your friends and car pool, this gives you more money for fabric!!!

So here below are the pictures of all the quilts have a look at them and then contact your nearest shop to register, until next time Happy Shop Hopping.
